Electrician

About the role

Laboratory & Allied Ltd is seeking a qualified Electrician to join its pharmaceutical manufacturing team in Westlands, Nairobi. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring reliable electrical systems that support critical production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, routine maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring and equipment across the plant.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and resolve issues promptly to minimise production downtime.
• Maintain and service production machinery electrical components, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Document all work performed, update maintenance logs, and adhere to preventive maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement electrical upgrades and modifications.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to work safely in an industrial setting and follow regulatory guidelines.
