General Manager – Engineering & Water Solutions

About the role

The General Manager will act as the principal integrator of the Engineering & Water Solutions and Industrial Trading divisions, owning the consolidated profit and loss, cash conversion and execution quality. Reporting to the CEO, the role is on‑site and requires translating strategy into disciplined weekly execution.

Key responsibilities

• Translate board‑approved strategy into annual operating plans, budgets and weekly performance rhythms.
• Lead the integrated divisions, eliminating silos across sales, engineering, procurement, finance and service.
• Own the consolidated P&L, cash conversion, revenue, gross profit and EBITDA, and chair monthly business reviews.
• Govern end‑to‑end project delivery from qualification through commissioning and close‑out, ensuring technical, safety and quality standards.
• Drive growth of the trading division through disciplined product expansion, margin protection and channel development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; MBA advantageous.
• At least 10 years progressive leadership experience with 5 years of P&L responsibility in engineering services, EPC or industrial equipment.
• Proven track record of revenue and profit growth while improving cash conversion and working‑capital management.
• Experience managing multifunctional teams and holding senior managers accountable.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of ERP/CRM systems, specifically ERPNext.
