Experienced Service Technician (Remote)

About the role

Join SPATCO as an experienced Service Technician working remotely to support customers in the petroleum industry. You will receive ongoing training and certifications to advance your career while collaborating with branch managers, dispatchers, and fellow technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair gasoline dispensing units (e.g., Gilbarco, Dresser Wayne, Gasboy, Bennett).
• Diagnose and fix electronic POS systems (e.g., VeriFone, Gilbarco, NCR).
• Install, program, and test new petroleum equipment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and preventative repairs on fueling systems.
• Communicate technical issues to customers in clear, non‑technical language.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid state driver’s license with a good driving record.
• At least 2 years of experience with gasoline dispensing units, including hydraulics and submerged pump units.
• Current dispenser certification(s).
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather, travel locally, and lift 50‑75 lb.

Required skills

• Troubleshooting gasoline dispensing units.
• Repair of dispenser hydraulics and submerged pump units.
• Electronic POS system maintenance.
• Installation and programming of petroleum equipment.
