Field Engineer – Wireline

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking a Wireline Field Engineer to provide technical guidance and support for multiple customer projects across the oilfield. You will work directly at wellsites, collaborating with drill crews and customers to deliver reliable logging and completions services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and analyze solutions to moderately complex wellsite problems.
• Supervise training of junior engineers and field personnel.
• Coordinate operations with drill crews, rigs, and production facilities.
• Maintain accurate records of all assemblies and report to the Customer Representative.
• Advise customers on logging and completions operations, interpret logging data, and troubleshoot wellsite issues.
• Oversee equipment both at the wellsite and in the shop to ensure proper service delivery.
• Perform additional district‑wide duties as required.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering or Applied Science.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of oilfield wireline operations and services (TCP).
• Ability to select appropriate products and services for a range of applications.
• Effective communication with internal and external customers.
