Finance Intern – Sub‑Saharan Africa

About the role

This internship supports the Sub‑Saharan Africa (SSA) CFO and finance team across Kenya, Nigeria and Mauritius. You will gain hands‑on exposure to core finance processes such as controlling, record‑to‑report, intercompany, treasury, payables and collections while assisting with administrative coordination and project tracking.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, consolidation and analysis of financial reports and management insights.
• Support financial planning, forecasting and performance tracking across the SSA cluster.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, collections, payables and intercompany transactions.
• Collect, validate and follow up on data with country finance teams.
• Prepare presentations, briefing materials and reports for the SSA CFO and senior leadership.
• Coordinate meetings, agendas, action items and governance workshops.
• Maintain project trackers, timelines and status updates for finance initiatives and transformation projects.
• Follow up with stakeholders to ensure delivery against agreed actions and deadlines.
