Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead all financial operations for Solar Panda Kenya, ensuring accurate reporting, strong cash‑flow management, and compliance with Kenyan tax and IFRS standards. This senior position partners closely with the leadership team to provide insights that drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day financial activities, including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare and present timely financial statements, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions to support growth.
• Ensure compliance with Kenyan tax regulations, IFRS, and internal control policies.
• Lead the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting and strategic planning.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of finance experience, preferably in a high‑growth or clean‑tech environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Kenyan tax law, FP&A, treasury, and audit/compliance.
• Proven ability to work independently and as a trusted business partner.
• High integrity, leadership capability, and excellent analytical communication skills.
