Finance Manager

About the role

Are you the finance leader who keeps a growing business accurate, compliant and one step ahead? This senior role involves taking ownership quickly and building on a strong foundation left by a long‑serving predecessor.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate month‑end, quarterly and year‑end financial statements and reports that provide clear figures for management decision‑making.
• Process payroll on time, ensuring full compliance with Kenyan statutory deductions and filing requirements.
• Calculate and disburse commission payments and landlord fees accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Maintain current insurance policies and licensing, ensuring all documentation is up‑to‑date and well managed.
• Lead, develop and grow a team of finance professionals, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Partner closely with the General Manager and Managing Director, acting as a trusted financial adviser.

Required profile

• Minimum five years’ experience in a senior finance management role within a comparable organisation.
• CPA(K) qualification or equivalent, and active membership of ICPAK.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related discipline.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Kenyan payroll, tax and statutory compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with Tally Accounting Software for bookkeeping and reporting.
