Fineract Developer – Core Banking System Engineer

About the role

Inkomoko is seeking a Fineract Developer to join its Software Design & Development team. The role focuses on developing, customizing and supporting the Apache Fineract core banking platform while contributing to broader internal systems, integrations and digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, customize, configure and support Apache Fineract/CBS, including lending and financial services capabilities.
• Design and enhance internal applications that automate and digitise Inkomoko processes.
• Integrate and customise Odoo ERP with Fineract/CBS and other enterprise systems, collaborating with internal teams, vendors and consultants.
• Develop APIs and integrations between Inkomoko systems and third‑party platforms.
• Troubleshoot, test, upgrade and maintain existing applications and services.
• Contribute to an API‑first, event‑driven architecture and build related services and integrations.

Required profile

• Engineer comfortable working across multiple applications and platforms.
• Understanding of how Fineract, APIs, integrations, enterprise systems, data and digital channels operate together as a platform.
