Floor Supervisor

About the role

The Floor Supervisor will lead the shop‑floor team at Magunas Supermarket, ensuring smooth daily operations, optimal product presentation, and excellent customer service. This full‑time position reports to the store manager and requires hands‑on leadership in a fast‑moving retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and update weekly staff schedules to guarantee adequate floor coverage.
• Maintain product hygiene, accurate shelf labeling, and timely communication of offers and price changes.
• Oversee order creation, supplier follow‑up, and stock movement to achieve 100% process compliance.
• Ensure proper product stocking, rotation, expiry tracking, and overall store cleanliness.
• Conduct price comparisons and relay findings to the branch manager and procurement teams.
• Provide continuous customer assistance, resolve complaints, and gather feedback to improve service quality.
• Uphold staff grooming standards and enforce the company dress code on the shop floor.

Required profile

• Diploma in any business‑related field.
• Minimum three years of retail or supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
