Business Development Internship – Client Acquisition

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Intern to support our marketing and client acquisition activities across multiple regions in Kenya. The role is ideal for candidates passionate about finance, marketing and building customer relationships, offering hands‑on exposure to loan products and field campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential clients for loan products.
• Promote financial services within assigned territories.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Generate qualified leads for the sales and credit teams.
• Support field marketing campaigns and community outreach initiatives.
• Conduct follow‑ups with clients to assist early‑stage collections.
• Apply strategies to minimise loan defaults.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in the field.
• Genuine interest in finance, marketing or business development.
