Fullstack Developer (Flutter, Next.js, Go, Python)

About the role

Britam is looking for a Fullstack Developer to own the end‑to‑end delivery of its digital products. You will turn technical specifications into production‑ready features across mobile, web and backend layers, ensuring a seamless experience for the company’s customers. You will work on‑site in Nairobi, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to innovate Britam’s digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross‑platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart for both iOS and Android.
• Build and optimise server‑rendered and client‑side web applications with Next.js and React, focusing on performance, accessibility and responsive design.
• Design and implement scalable backend services and RESTful APIs with NestJS, Go and Python to support mobile and web front‑ends.
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to deliver business‑critical functionality.
• Participate in architectural decisions, including system design, database schemas and cloud infrastructure.

Required profile

• Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in full‑stack development, delivering mobile, web and backend solutions.
