Fullstack Developer (Java, React)

About the role

We are looking for a Fullstack Developer proficient in Java and React to join a collaborative engineering team serving large international organisations. The role offers the chance to work remotely from Kenya while contributing to innovative products across the entire software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from analysis and design to implementation, testing, documentation and deployment.
• Develop new product features using Java 8/11, Spring/Spring Boot and React with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Design, build and maintain scalable micro‑services and cloud‑based applications.
• Apply modern CI/CD pipelines, version‑control and automated quality processes.
• Collaborate within Scrum teams, contribute to technical decisions and propose improvements.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Java 8/11 and Spring/Spring Boot.
• Strong front‑end skills in React and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Understanding of micro‑services architecture and cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with relational and/or non‑relational databases.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Good English communication skills and a proactive, ownership‑driven attitude.
