Data Scientist – Entry Level

About the role

The job holder will be responsible for transforming enterprise data into actionable insights by developing analytical models, supporting data‑driven decision‑making, and contributing to the implementation of the organization’s data strategy, governance framework, and advanced analytics capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze structured and unstructured data to generate actionable insights for business units.
• Develop predictive and prescriptive models to support business decision‑making.
• Build and maintain machine learning models and analytical pipelines.
• Support implementation of the enterprise data framework, including data quality and governance standards.
• Work with data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric and data lakes to process and analyse data.
• Develop dashboards and visualisations for stakeholders.
• Translate analytical outputs into clear business insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology teams.
• Identify opportunities for AI/ML to improve business performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in data analytics or data science.
• Understanding of data governance and regulatory requirements (advantage).
