Full‑Time Cashier – Kisumu

About the role
We are looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented Full‑Time Cashier to join our team in Kisumu. The successful candidate will manage daily cash transactions, ensure tax and invoicing compliance, and keep financial records accurate.
Key responsibilities
- Securely handle cash transactions, audit incoming orders, and approve client payments.
- Issue Electronic Tax Register (ETR) receipts, generate invoices, and process withholding taxes.
- Perform regular bank and sales reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
- Strong computer proficiency, especially in MS Excel.
- Familiarity with e‑TIMS and local tax regulations.
- Prior experience with cash handling and basic accounting principles.
- High integrity, honesty, reliability and a proactive work ethic.
- Excellent communication and conflict‑resolution skills, with patience under pressure.
- Willingness to relocate and work onsite in Kisumu.
