General Manager

About the role

The General Manager will provide strategic leadership for Outrival HR Solutions & Consultancies' media business, overseeing television, radio and digital platforms. This senior role is responsible for driving growth, revenue, and operational excellence while aligning the organisation with its long‑term vision.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall media strategy, identifying new business opportunities and emerging trends to expand market presence.
• Lead daily media operations across TV, radio and digital, ensuring coordination between editorial, production, commercial and support functions.
• Design and implement revenue‑generation initiatives, including advertising sales, sponsorships, partnerships and content commercialisation.
• Manage the financial performance of the media business, preparing budgets, monitoring P&L, and reporting to senior leadership.
• Oversee content and brand strategy, ensuring high‑quality, relevant programming that resonates with target audiences.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 10 years of experience in media management.
• Demonstrated ability to drive business growth and revenue across multiple media platforms.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, P&L and cost‑control measures.
