In‑store Excellence Manager – Trade Marketing

About the role

The Instore Excellence Manager will lead the Perfect Store and retail execution strategy for Beiersdorf’s brands in Nairobi, ensuring that point‑of‑sale materials, merchandising standards and campaign roll‑outs are delivered consistently across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Define, deploy and govern execution standards covering availability, visibility, shelving, planogram compliance and POSM deployment.
• Develop annual POSM and visibility asset strategies, manage budgets, track utilization and ensure ROI.
• Oversee third‑party merchandising agencies, create performance scorecards and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain execution dashboards, monitor KPIs such as Perfect Store metrics, audit scores and field productivity, and provide corrective action plans.
• Lead in‑store execution for commercial campaigns, new product launches and seasonal activations, ensuring compliance and impact.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Category, Procurement and Supply Chain to translate campaign objectives into actionable store plans.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in trade marketing, shopper marketing or in‑store execution within an FMCG environment.
• Proven track record managing POS materials, merchandising assets and large‑scale market activations across multiple channels.
• Experience in planning, forecasting, procurement, warehousing and distribution of POS assets.
• Strong understanding of retail dynamics, route‑to‑market and execution metrics that drive brand visibility and sales.
