Interior Design Sales Consultant

About the role

Kaldo Interiors is a fast‑growing interior design and fit‑out firm serving residential and commercial clients across Kenya. We are looking for a proactive Interior Design Sales Consultant to be the first point of contact for prospective clients, handling enquiries and turning them into signed projects.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to sales enquiries received via phone, WhatsApp, email and social‑media DMs (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Threads, X).
• Qualify leads by understanding the client’s space, budget, timeline and requirements.
• Explain our services, processes and pricing structure clearly and confidently.
• Book and coordinate client consultations and site visits with the design team.
• Prepare and send quotations, follow up on pending quotes and negotiate to close deals.
• Maintain accurate records of all leads, conversations and follow‑ups using a CRM or lead tracker.
• Follow up consistently with warm leads and past clients for repeat business and referrals.
• Relay client requirements to design and production teams and provide feedback on common questions and market trends.
• Meet monthly lead‑response and sales‑conversion targets.

Required profile

• Certificate, diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, Building Technology or a related field (mandatory).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, client service or business development, preferably in interiors, construction, furniture, real estate or building materials.
• Fluent spoken and written English and Kiswahili, with the ability to adapt tone for different clients.
• Proven ability to handle high volumes of calls and messages without dropping leads.

Required skills

• Strong command of social‑media platforms for sales: WhatsApp Business, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Threads, X (Twitter).
• Experience using a CRM or lead‑tracking system.
• Ability to prepare accurate quotations, pricing labour and materials based on client requirements.
