IT Operations Specialist

About the role

CloudFactory is seeking an IT Operations Specialist to keep its global infrastructure, networks, and SaaS tools running smoothly. You will ensure systems are available, secure, and well‑maintained while providing first‑line support for productivity applications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on physical data‑centre hardware, including servers, storage and networking equipment.
• Monitor environmental controls and network performance, escalating issues when needed.
• Manage domain renewals, SSL certificates and basic DNS records (A, CNAME, MX).
• Test new SaaS features against defined test cases and provide first‑level support for tools such as Gmail and Slack.
• Assist with disaster‑recovery runbooks, participate in scheduled DR tests and handle related alerts.
• Follow governance, security standards and corporate compliance procedures.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of generic IT operations and infrastructure concepts.
• Experience with physical server, storage and network equipment maintenance.
• Familiarity with domain, DNS and SSL certificate lifecycle management.
• Ability to support SaaS applications and common productivity tools.
• Basic knowledge of disaster‑recovery processes and compliance requirements.
