About the role
This role is for a Java Solution Architect who designs and guides large-scale software solutions. The position suits someone with a strong backend focus in Java and experience leading teams indirectly, able to explain complex systems clearly to engineers, customers and executives.
Required profile
- 10+ years in software engineering, with a strong backend focus in Java (must-have)
- Background in FinTech, HealthTech, Smart Manufacturing, ERP or other regulated enterprise systems; HRTech / payroll / compliance platforms is a strong advantage
- Experience leading multiple teams indirectly, and challenging engineers, tech leads and managers
- Able to present to audiences across business, IT and C-level, and to write architecture documentation, bids and proposals
- Excellent time management, prioritisation and results orientation
- Proficiency in English; Japanese or Korean is a big plus
