Junior IT Project Manager (On‑Site, Nairobi)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Junior IT Project Manager to lead technology initiatives in our Nairobi office. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage project lifecycles, and ensure delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple IT projects from initiation to successful completion.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Monitor risks, identify issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels.
• Translate business requirements into actionable tasks and priorities.
• Produce and maintain project documentation, training materials, and presentations.
• Facilitate planning, execution, monitoring, and closure activities.
• Define scope, objectives, and success criteria while aligning stakeholder expectations.
• Drive process‑improvement initiatives and ensure quality, budget, and schedule adherence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, preferably technology‑focused.
• Minimum 2 years of technical project management experience.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Excellent verbal and written English (C1 level).
• Proven ability to interact with stakeholders across all organizational levels.
