IT & Systems Engineer (NetSuite)

About the role

The IT & Systems Engineer (NetSuite) designs custom applications, develops NetSuite scripts and automations, and builds API integrations to support business operations across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable system architecture and technical solutions for core business processes.
• Create and maintain custom applications, records, forms, fields, and workflow automations using JavaScript (ES5/ES6).
• Build and manage REST/SOAP API integrations with CRM, billing, payment gateways and other operational systems.
• Design and optimise database schemas, queries and data models to ensure performance and data integrity.
• Develop reports, dashboards and saved searches to support business reporting.
• Troubleshoot system issues, script errors and performance bottlenecks, ensuring changes follow development standards.
• Collaborate with administrators, developers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into well‑architected solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in systems/software engineering, application development or a related technical role.
• Strong understanding of system design, software architecture and security/gov​ernance practices.
• Experience with NetSuite or other ERP platforms is a strong advantage.
