Kenya Growth Lead

About the role

Ello is expanding its AI‑driven education platform in Kenya and needs a Growth Lead to own and execute the in‑market growth strategy. You will shape the playbook for reaching Kenyan families, driving awareness, acquisition, engagement, and retention of the product.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve Ello’s growth roadmap for Kenya, setting measurable targets across the funnel.
• Lead content creation and organic social efforts, sourcing and managing local creators and influencers.
• Identify, test, and scale new channels to build trust with Kenyan families.
• Build strategic partnerships that unlock new audiences and drive user growth.
• Collaborate with growth and product teams in San Francisco while keeping initiatives grounded in local insights.
• Report regularly on performance metrics and adjust experiments based on data.

Required profile

• Strong independence and ability to make data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑time‑zone collaboration.
• Comfortable shaping strategy from local insights and executing experiments.
