Kenya Program Coordinator

About the role

The Kenya Program Coordinator will support the Country Director in delivering TNC Kenya’s conservation priorities. Working closely with program teams, Finance and Operations, the role ensures effective implementation, budgeting and tracking of outcomes across the country programme.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Country Director in monitoring programme implementation, strategic priorities and organisational commitments.
• Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration between Conservation, Policy & Partnerships, Operations and shared services.
• Maintain a programme‑wide calendar of deliverables, reporting deadlines and strategic milestones.
• Track follow‑up actions from leadership and cross‑team meetings to ensure timely execution.
• Manage multiple complex conservation projects, aligning teams, timelines and accountability.
• Oversee programme‑level project management using TNC’s Highly Effective Teams framework and other relevant methodologies.
• Prepare briefing materials, reports, dashboards and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong analytical abilities with sound judgement and the capacity to evaluate alternatives and recommend solutions.
• Experience supporting senior leadership in a programme or project coordination capacity.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail for tracking outcomes and deadlines.
• Ability to foster collaboration across diverse functional teams and maintain clear communication.
