Knowledge Management Consultant – Gender Equality (Remote, 12 months)

About the role

This 12‑month consultancy aims to strengthen UNICEF’s knowledge management on gender equality and support the implementation of the Gender Equality Action Plan 2026–2029. The consultant will develop, curate and disseminate gender‑related knowledge products, facilitate knowledge exchange and capacity‑building activities, and promote mutual learning across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, curate and disseminate gender‑related knowledge products and tools.
• Facilitate knowledge exchange, capacity‑building sessions and webinars to improve visibility and use of gender evidence and good practices.
• Manage and enhance digital collaboration platforms (SharePoint/Microsoft 365) to support information architecture and content design.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in knowledge management, digital collaboration platforms or communications, preferably within the UN system or international development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Knowledge Management, Information Science, Communications, International Development or related field; advanced degree is an asset.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); working knowledge of French and/or Spanish is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
• Strong information architecture and content design capabilities.
• Experience organizing and delivering webinars or training sessions.
• Excellent written communication skills.
