Lead, Technical Materials, ASE, Tooling & Facilities

About the role

The Lead, Technical Materials, ASE, Tooling & Facilities will guide the development and enhancement of aviation support systems, ensuring the availability of materials, tools and equipment required for maintenance operations. This role coordinates internal and external stakeholders to maintain strategic inventories and support continuous aircraft maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory control vision, policies and procedures aligned with strategic objectives.
• Plan and coordinate warehouse storage, distribution strategies, and materials movement across global locations.
• Monitor outsourced maintenance contractor performance against SLA commitments and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Manage day‑to‑day sub‑ledger accounting for technical assets and oversee consignment stock globally.
• Ensure receipt, storage, handling and delivery of aircraft spares, tools and materials comply with KCAA and KQ specifications.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories, reconciling results with the OASES system.
• Develop and maintain asset management frameworks and support third‑party maintenance functions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in aviation MRO logistics, inventory control or technical materials management.
• Strong understanding of tooling, ASE processes and maintenance continuity requirements.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate with external suppliers.
• Excellent analytical skills to develop insights on market growth and material supply trends.
