About the role
A reputable hotel in Nairobi is looking for a skilled and creative Mixologist to join its hospitality team. The role covers preparing and serving drinks for hotel guests at the bar and restaurant.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, mocktails and other beverages for hotel guests.
- Maintain high standards of drink quality and presentation.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests at the bar and restaurant.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the bar area.
- Monitor and manage bar stock and inventory.
- Recommend drinks to guests and help with beverage menu suggestions.
- Follow hotel hygiene, safety and service standards.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a hotel or hospitality establishment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
Required skills
- Good knowledge of cocktail preparation and bar operations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
