About the role
The Nursing Officer III position is a full‑time role at Meru University of Science and Technology, located in Westlands, Nairobi. This role is part of the university’s health service team and requires the holder to work in a busy health facility, providing nursing care and supporting clinical operations.
Key responsibilities
Required profile
- Diploma in Nursing or equivalent from a recognized institution
- Valid license from the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK)
- Valid BLS/ACLS certification
- Membership in a Kenyan nursing association (NNAK/KEPNA)
- Minimum of one year working experience in a busy health facility
- Experience in a tertiary learning institution is an added advantage
- Compliance with Chapter Six of the Kenya Constitution 2010
Required skills
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Experience with Hospital Management Systems
- Ability to use BLS and ACLS protocols
