Operations Manager – Cabro & Paving

About the role

The Operations Manager will lead daily production and overall factory operations for Cabro, paving blocks and related construction products. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure that production meets quality, cost and delivery targets while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily production and general factory operations.
• Plan and coordinate production according to customer orders and sales requirements.
• Ensure Cabro, paving blocks and other products meet required quality standards.
• Supervise production, stores, transport and other operational staff.
• Monitor production targets, productivity and wastage.
• Ensure adequate availability of raw materials and production supplies.
• Coordinate with Sales to guarantee timely order fulfillment.
• Monitor proper use and maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe and well‑organized factory.
• Enforce health and safety procedures.
• Track stock levels of raw materials and finished products.
• Identify operational problems and implement corrective actions.
• Control operational costs and minimize wastage.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational reports for management.
• Manage staff attendance, discipline and performance in coordination with HR.
• Coordinate loading, dispatch and delivery of finished products.
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors and service providers as needed.
• Recommend improvements to production processes and overall operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Production Management, Engineering or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in operations, production or factory management.
• Experience in Cabro, paving blocks, concrete products, construction materials or manufacturing is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of production processes and factory operations.
