Procurement Manager

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead the end‑to‑end procurement function for manufacturing, trading, projects and indirect spend. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, the role translates business needs into strategic sourcing plans, negotiates commercial terms and ensures timely, cost‑effective delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for polymers, fittings, valves, machinery, plant spares, packaging and project materials.
• Lead commercial negotiations covering price, credit terms, lead times, warranties and contractual protections.
• Monitor supplier performance, capacity, lead times and risks to guarantee uninterrupted supply of production materials.
• Provide procurement input for quotations and tenders, ensuring accurate cost estimates and timely responses.
• Maintain compliance with policy, delegated authority and procurement governance, including supplier scorecards and business continuity plans.
• Coach and develop the procurement team, set service levels, and manage performance reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Business, Finance or related field.
• Minimum seven years of progressive procurement experience, with at least three years leading a team or major spend categories.
• Proven experience in manufacturing procurement, imported materials, supplier negotiations, contract management and landed‑cost analysis.
