Operations Manager – Ready Mix

About the role

The Operations Manager – Ready Mix will provide strategic and operational leadership for all ready‑mix concrete activities, ensuring seamless coordination between production, logistics and support functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead outbound logistics, production, quality, and inbound raw‑material logistics.
• Guarantee continuous raw‑material availability to avoid production interruptions.
• Drive efficiency, productivity and cost‑optimisation initiatives.
• Monitor departmental performance and achieve operational KPIs.
• Promote coordination among production, logistics, maintenance and other support teams.
• Champion quality assurance, health & safety and environmental compliance.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement opportunities and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in an Operations Management role, preferably in ready‑mix concrete, construction, manufacturing, quarry, cement or similar heavy‑industrial sectors.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary operational teams.
• Strong planning, analytical, decision‑making and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication, coordination and people‑management skills.
• Hands‑on leader able to deliver results under pressure.
