Part-Time Lecturer – Accounting & Finance (Multiple Courses)

About the role

Royal Business School is looking for experienced part‑time lecturers to deliver professional accounting and finance courses in Nairobi. The role involves teaching a range of modules such as Advanced Financial Reporting, Financial Reporting, Financial Management, Advanced Management Accounting and Management Accounting to students pursuing CPA or similar qualifications.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, well‑structured lectures for weekday evening and weekend classes.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials and case studies aligned with the syllabus.
• Assess student performance through assignments, quizzes and examinations.
• Provide academic support, mentorship and feedback to help students achieve their professional goals.
• Ensure full coverage of course content within the scheduled timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as CPA or an equivalent credential.
• Prior experience teaching KASNEB or other professional accounting courses is an advantage.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.

Required skills

• Ability to design and deliver curriculum for adult learners.
• Proficiency in preparing academic assessments and grading.
