Part Time Lecturer – Contemporary Issues in Financial Accounting

About the role

Maseno University is seeking a qualified part‑time lecturer to deliver courses on contemporary issues in financial accounting. The successful candidate will join the Faculty of Business and Economics to support the university’s commitment to high‑quality education and research.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging lectures, tutorials and seminars on financial accounting topics.
• Develop course materials, case studies and assessment tools aligned with current industry practices.
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, examinations and projects.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum reviews and academic committees.
• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely related field.
• Relevant professional certification or coursework is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
