Part-time Remote Peer Reviewer – Electrochemistry (PhD)

About the role

This is a long‑term, stable part‑time position that allows you to work remotely as a peer reviewer for electrochemistry manuscripts. You will support a scholarly journal by ensuring the scientific quality and integrity of submitted papers.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty of each manuscript and determine its contribution to electrochemistry.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility of the research.
• Check that the literature review is comprehensive and up‑to‑date.
• Analyse results and conclusions for clarity, accuracy, and significance.
• Provide constructive, clear, and concise feedback to authors.
• Make a recommendation to the editor regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in electrochemistry or a closely related field.
• At least five peer‑reviewed publications in SCI/SSCI journals within the last three years.
• Strong understanding of research methodologies and ethical standards.
• Excellent analytical, critical‑thinking, and written communication abilities.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Commitment to confidentiality and objectivity.
• Previous experience as a journal peer reviewer is highly desirable.
