About the role
HR Box Africa is seeking a proactive Partnerships and Grants Officer to identify funding opportunities and build relationships with donors. Based in Nairobi’s Westlands district, the position is full‑time and reports to senior management. The role will support the organization’s growth by managing grant applications and ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Identify grant and funding opportunities.
- Write grant proposals and concept notes.
- Coordinate funding applications across teams.
- Build relationships with donors and partners.
- Manage grant submissions and donor compliance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, management, or grant writing.
- Strong writing, proposal development, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience with project tools, CRM systems, sustainability, or circular economy is an advantage.
