Parts Demand Planning Executive

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Parts Demand Planning Executive to lead forecasting, inventory optimisation and procurement for a high‑volume automotive spare‑parts operation. The role will ensure the right parts are available at the right time while controlling costs across a large SKU portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain monthly and rolling demand forecasts using historical sales, seasonality and market insights.
• Optimise inventory levels, safety stock and buffer stock to balance availability and cost.
• Prepare and execute procurement orders based on approved forecasts and inventory requirements.
• Monitor purchase orders, import shipments and the full supply pipeline to guarantee timely delivery.
• Identify potential stock‑outs, excess inventory and supply risks, recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with sales, service, warehouse, finance, logistics and suppliers to ensure seamless parts availability.
• Produce regular reports and dashboards on demand, inventory, procurement and supply‑chain performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Commerce or a related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in parts demand planning, inventory management, procurement or supply‑chain management, preferably in automotive, commercial vehicle, heavy equipment or industrial spare‑parts sectors.
• Proven track record managing large SKU portfolios and imported inventory.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management abilities.
