Pharmaceutical Technologist – Dispensing & Inventory Management

About the role

The Pharmacy Technologist will join our healthcare team in Nairobi, ensuring accurate medication dispensing and effective inventory control. You will interact directly with patients, providing guidance on medication use while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription and over‑the‑counter medicines according to medical orders.
• Provide clear dosage instructions and counsel patients on possible side effects.
• Monitor stock levels, track expiry dates, and manage proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
• Maintain detailed dispensing records and support audit inspections.
• Deliver professional customer service and address inquiries about pharmaceutical products.

Required profile

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy setting.
• Registered and licensed by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).

Required skills

• Medication dispensing.
• Inventory and drug management.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical dosages and dispensing practices.
