Procurement Intern

About the role

The Procurement Intern will support Ikigai’s procurement function, helping to source, order, receive and track goods and services for its cafés, kitchens, locations, offices and events. This role offers hands‑on experience in supplier management, purchasing, inventory control and data reporting within a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and ordering goods and services across all Ikigai locations.
• Support receiving, tracking and documentation of deliveries.
• Maintain inventory records and help monitor stock levels.
• Prepare and update procurement documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely availability of resources.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management or a related field.
• Previous internship, volunteer or coursework experience in procurement, inventory management, hospitality or supply chain is an advantage.
• Strong alignment with Ikigai’s mission and values, and a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail‑oriented with good organizational and time‑management abilities.
