Warehouse Operator

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Operator to oversee our Nairobi warehouse, handling energy storage products, demo units, spare parts and installation materials. The role combines hands‑on forklift operation with inventory control and a strong focus on safety and accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day warehouse activities, including receipt, storage, issuance and transfer of goods.
• Operate a forklift to load, unload, move, stack and organize materials safely.
• Conduct stock‑taking, maintain inventory records and report low‑stock or irregular movements.
• Prepare materials for store construction, customer pick‑up, after‑sales service and marketing events.
• Maintain a clean, well‑labelled and safely organised warehouse environment.
• Support local logistics by handling loading, receiving, dispatching and exception reporting.
• Provide regular inventory updates to the Operations Lead and Sales Assistant.

Required profile

• High school diploma or higher.
• At least 2 years of experience in warehousing, logistics or inventory management, preferably with electrical/solar products.
• Forklift operator certificate or proven forklift operating experience.
• Basic English communication skills; Swahili fluency is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, responsible and comfortable working in a warehouse setting.
