Product Innovation Manager – Local Brands

About the role

L'Oreal is hiring a full-time Product Innovation Manager for its Local Brands business in Nairobi. The role leads product innovation from concept to shelf, reporting to the Brand Business Lead and connecting local consumer needs with Research & Innovation to build relevant product pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Identify high-potential local market opportunities by turning consumer insights into actionable innovation briefs.
• Partner with Research & Innovation teams to assess formula feasibility, packaging and business potential, embedding Augmented Beauty and sustainable design practices.
• Build commercial business cases for new launches, defining volume forecasts, pricing and profitability targets.
• Direct 360-degree launch toolkits across digital, point-of-sale and media channels.
• Steer complex cross-functional launch schedules and resolve operational bottlenecks to meet go-to-market milestones.

Required profile

• Curiosity for local culture and a sharp instinct for commercially viable beauty concepts.
• Ability to turn consumer behaviour and market trends into clear product opportunities.
• Track record of aligning marketing, R&I and commercial teams around shared project milestones.
