Quantity Surveyor – Construction Projects

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Quantity Surveyor to join a growing construction firm that specialises in waterproofing, renovations, repairs, remodeling and general works. The role bridges office‑based cost planning and on‑site assessments, ensuring accurate project costing and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, quotations and tender documents.
• Conduct material take‑offs, site measurements and assessments to develop project budgets.
• Monitor project costs against approved budgets, track variations and produce valuation reports.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations and support contract administration.
• Provide weekly and monthly cost reports, identify cost‑saving opportunities and support resource planning.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and project teams, and represent the company in meetings.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building Economics, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of practical experience on construction projects, preferably in waterproofing, renovations or general construction.
• Proven ability to prepare BOQs, cost estimates and tender documentation.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and cost control.
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and conduct independent site assessments.
