Relationship Manager – Bancassurance

About the role

The Relationship Manager – Bancassurance will lead the bank’s Bancassurance strategy, driving product distribution and revenue growth while ensuring compliance and risk control. This senior position reports directly to the Board and works closely with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Bancassurance strategy, including budgeting and performance targets.
• Oversee product distribution across the bank’s network and manage relationships with insurance partners.
• Lead and mentor a team of Bancassurance staff, ensuring high performance and professional development.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and regulatory changes to keep the offering competitive.
• Ensure operational efficiency, compliance with banking and insurance regulations, and implement risk‑mitigation measures.
• Prepare and present regular performance and risk reports to the Board of Directors.

Required profile

• Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Economics).
• Professional insurance certification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Bancassurance or related insurance sales within a banking environment.
• Strong leadership, sales and communication abilities.
• Practising Christian with excellent interpersonal skills.
