About the role

We are seeking a remote Biology expert to design and solve challenging biology problems for evaluating large language models. This short‑term contract involves 8 hours of work per day with a 4‑hour overlap with Pacific Standard Time, lasting approximately 11 weeks.

Key responsibilities

Design and solve challenging biology problems to evaluate large language models.
Develop clear, step‑by‑step biology solutions with detailed reasoning.
Collaborate with LLM researchers on evaluation benchmarks and reasoning tasks.
Help define new evaluation benchmarks spanning undergraduate to PhD‑level biology.
Analyze and solve complex biological problems using a logical, structured approach.
Explain biology concepts clearly using simple language, visuals, and simulations where needed.

Required profile

Master’s, Ph.D., or currently pursuing a Ph.D./Postdoctoral degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related fields.
Strong research and analytical skills with creative, lateral thinking abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote environment.
