Research Quality Specialist – Computational Physics (Remote)

About the role

This short‑term contract position focuses on creating and reviewing high‑quality research‑grade physics problems for an online platform. The specialist will work remotely, collaborating with reviewers and team leads to ensure scientific rigor and clarity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and conceptualize research‑grade scientific problems using Python.
• Define problem categories, secondary tags, and difficulty levels.
• Solve formulated problems with accurate, logically structured solutions.
• Participate in two‑tier quality reviews for problems and solutions.
• Collaborate with reviewers and team leads to improve content quality.
• Refine content based on feedback and maintain high‑quality standards.

Required profile

• PhD or PhD candidate in Computational Physics.
• At least one peer‑reviewed published paper.
• Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Python programming for scientific coding.

What we offer

• Compensation of $61 per approved task.
• Fully remote work with an 8‑hour daily commitment and 4‑hour overlap with PST.
• 8‑week contract with immediate start.
