Retail Sales Associate

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team in Westlands, Nairobi. You will be the front‑line representative of St. John Ambulance, promoting first‑aid kits, health items and branded merchandise while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell first‑aid kits, health products and branded merchandise to walk‑in customers.
• Operate the POS system for cash, card and mobile payments, including M‑PESA.
• Maintain stock levels, arrange attractive displays and conduct monthly stock takes.
• Prepare daily sales reconciliation, reports and capture customer feedback.
• Achieve monthly sales targets in line with organisational goals.

Required profile

• Diploma in Procurement, Sales, Business or Customer Service (advantageous).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in retail or sales.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and mobile money handling (M‑PESA).
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
