Sales Assistant – Nairobi Westlands

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and proactive Sales Assistant to join our retail team in Westlands, Nairobi. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them find the right products and ensuring a smooth shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer product queries and guide them to merchandise.
• Process payments using cash registers or point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Restock shelves, maintain visual displays and assist with inventory counts.
• Handle customer complaints calmly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate price labels and ensure the store is clean and organized.
• Participate in in‑store marketing events and promotions.
• Develop in‑depth knowledge of the product range to recommend items effectively.

Required profile

• Minimum High School KCSE Certificate.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Strong organizational and detail‑oriented mindset.
• Effective communication and exceptional customer service skills.

Required skills
