About the role

Solar Panda Kenya Limited is a fast‑growing clean‑tech company delivering solar home systems to underserved households. The Field Sales Manager will lead a team of commission‑based sales agents, driving sales of solar lighting and appliances in rural communities.

Key responsibilities

Recruit, train, motivate and mentor a team of field sales agents to meet shop targets.
Develop and implement sales strategies and lead‑generation initiatives.
Monitor daily performance of agents, provide support, and ensure adequate stock availability.
Report sales progress to the Area Sales Manager and identify training needs.
Track market trends, customer behaviour and competitor activities, sharing insights with management.

Required profile

Minimum five years of experience in sales or micro‑finance with a strong record of achieving targets.
Proven experience recruiting and managing commission‑based sales agents.
Experience working in rural areas is essential.
Strong leadership, interpersonal and strategic planning abilities.
Diploma or degree in a related field is an advantage.
