Senior FATCA/CRS Consultant, Trust and Fiduciary Sector

About the role

WealthComply AG seeks a senior consultant to provide expert technical support on FATCA and CRS for its platform and client base. The role is fully remote and engaged on an as‑needed basis, with compensation at a daily or hourly rate.

Key responsibilities

• Review and sign off complex multi‑tier classification cases, issuing detailed memoranda.
• Answer client technical queries across the full AEOI compliance cycle, including registration, due diligence, reporting and regulator responses.
• Assist sales teams during product demos, handle advanced technical questions, and support onboarding of new clients.
• Act as a technical resource for client‑facing teams, briefing them on regulatory updates such as the amended CRS and Crypto‑Asset Reporting Framework.

Required profile

• At least ten years of experience in the trust and fiduciary industry, covering full FATCA and CRS compliance cycles.
• Hands‑on experience with entity classification, controlling‑person identification, self‑certification review, registration, and annual reporting.
• Direct interaction with tax authorities or regulators on AEOI matters in major trust jurisdictions (e.g., Jersey, Guernsey, Cayman Islands, BVI, Switzerland, Liechtenstein).
• Ability to produce precise technical memoranda in English and explain analyses to non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• FATCA compliance and GIIN maintenance
• CRS compliance and Model 1/Model 2 IGA knowledge
• XML reporting for FATCA/CRS filings
• Experience with local AEOI portals
• US Chapter 3 withholding and QI documentation (Forms W‑8, W‑9)
