Senior HR Manager – Talent & Performance

About the role

BRAC International is seeking a Senior HR Manager to align organisational objectives with employees and manage HR, talent and performance strategies for BRAC Maendeleo Kenya. The role provides tactical and operational HR support to achieve the institution’s goals across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure legal compliance by monitoring HR legislation, conducting investigations, maintaining records and representing the organisation when required.
• Implement and maintain the HRMS, payroll system and internal databases for all departments and locations.
• Partner with senior management and the Regional Safeguarding Manager to identify, develop and retain high-potential women employees.
• Manage internal talent mobility and oversee the end-to-end recruitment of senior-level positions, working with hiring agencies and the country HR team.
• Drive a performance-focused culture by collaborating with the performance management specialist and country HR team.
• Support restructuring, workforce planning and succession planning initiatives.
• Build strategic partnerships with management, HR teams and employees to facilitate adoption of HR strategies.

Required profile

• Competent, dynamic and self-motivated professional with strong knowledge of HR compliance and investigations.
• Proven experience in HRMS and payroll system implementation and management.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with senior leadership and manage talent mobility and senior-level recruitment.
• Experience in performance management, workforce planning and succession planning.
