Senior Project Manager – Construction

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead large‑scale construction projects for Zb Constructions Limited in Nairobi. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle, from initiation through to handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multi‑disciplinary project teams and manage complex construction portfolios.
• Plan, execute, monitor and close projects, maintaining detailed schedules using MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Control costs, manage budgets, perform value engineering and ensure timely procurement.
• Negotiate contracts, manage vendor performance and oversee procurement processes.
• Ensure compliance with Kenyan health, safety, environmental regulations and company HSE policies.
• Communicate progress and risks to stakeholders and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive project management experience on large building or infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and manage high‑value portfolios.
• Active registration with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) or Kenya Institute of Project Management (KIPM) is an asset.
