Shipping Clerk

About the role

We are looking for a Shipping Clerk to join our team and ensure the accuracy and integrity of all products we ship to our customers. The role involves recording every detail of each order, from packing items into containers to labeling them correctly. You will work closely with the warehouse team to guarantee that items are labeled and packed properly for timely shipment.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain and process product orders, ensuring all details are captured accurately.
• Receive, register and distribute packages and letters within the company, maintaining clear records.
• Maintain the stockroom by organizing, cleaning, and cataloguing items to keep inventory orderly.
• Schedule large shipments and plan logistics, ensuring sufficient storage space for incoming items.
• Ensure staff can manage all incoming shipments and handle any issues that arise.
• Keep comprehensive files of goods shipped and received for traceability.
• Prepare regular shipping and receiving reports for managers to monitor performance.
• Handle issues related to shipping or inventory handling promptly.
• Ensure adherence to environmental management systems and related procedures.
